Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Mysore & Sightseeing
- Arrival at Mysore Railway Station or Bangalore Airport. Transfer to hotel for check-in.
- Begin your day exploring the majestic Mysore Palace, one of India’s grandest royal residences.
- Head to Chamundi Hills to visit the famous Chamundeshwari Temple and enjoy panoramic views of the city.
- Later, visit the enchanting Brindavan Gardens, known for its musical fountain show and serene beauty.
- Overnight stay in Mysore.
Day 02: Mysore Zoo & Transfer to Wayanad
- After breakfast, visit Mysore Zoo, one of the oldest and most well-maintained zoos in India.
- Visit St. Philomena's Church, an iconic neo-Gothic structure in Mysore.
- Post-lunch, proceed to Wayanad. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Western Ghats.
- Arrive in Wayanad for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.
Day 03: Wayanad Exploration
- After breakfast, begin your Wayanad adventure at Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India.
- Visit the prehistoric Edakkal Caves, with its fascinating rock engravings.
- Explore Kuruva Island, a serene river delta with bamboo groves and lush forests.
- Visit Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary for a wildlife safari where you may spot elephants and other animals.
- Marvel at the beauty of Soochippara Waterfall, a three-tiered waterfall.
- Overnight stay in Wayanad.
Day 04: Wayanad to Coorg via Ooty & Coonoor
- After an early breakfast, check-out and proceed to Ooty. En route, visit Coonoor and explore:
- Sim’s Park, a beautiful botanical garden.
- Lamb’s Rock for breathtaking views.
- Dolphin’s Nose, a scenic viewpoint.
- Continue to Ooty and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 05: Ooty Sightseeing
- After breakfast, visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri Mountains, offering panoramic views.
- Explore Botanical Garden and Rose Garden, famous for their vibrant collection of flowers and plants.
- Stop at Charing Cross for some local shopping and souvenirs.
- After lunch (on a direct payment basis), visit the Tea Museum to learn about tea production.
- Enjoy a relaxing boating experience at Ooty Lake.
- Overnight stay in Ooty.
Day 06: Departure from Ooty to Bangalore
- After breakfast, check-out and head to Bangalore airport or railway station for your return journey.
- Tour ends with beautiful memories of Mysore, Wayanad, and Ooty.
