Day 01: Arrival in Madurai
Upon arrival at Madurai Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel. Check-in and refresh. Later, set out on a sightseeing tour of Madurai, beginning with the magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple, one of India’s most revered and architecturally stunning temples. In the evening, immerse yourself in history with a light and sound show at Thirumalai Nayak Palace. Return to the hotel for a relaxing overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 02: Madurai – Rameshwaram (175 km / 3.5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and embark on a scenic drive to Rameshwaram, a sacred island town steeped in mythology. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, explore the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple, famous for its intricate corridors and sacred water tanks. Also visit Agnitheertham, the revered seashore bathing spot, and Ramjharoka Temple, believed to have imprints of Lord Rama's feet.
