Starlit Ladakh

Day 1: Arrival in Leh (20 km)

• Arrive at Leh between 1100 and 1300 Hrs.
• Complete arrival formalities and meet your driver.
• Transfer to the hotel for check-in (standard time: 1400 Hrs).
• Relax and acclimatize to the high altitude.
• Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 2: Leh – Sham Valley – Leh (200 km)

• Post breakfast, embark on a day of sightseeing.
• Visit Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and the famous Sangam Point at Nimoo.
• Witness the gravity-defying Magnetic Hill and visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib.
• Explore the Hall of Fame Museum (optional sound & light show at extra cost).
• Spend the evening exploring Leh’s bustling market.
• Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 3: Leh – Khardung La – Nubra/Hunder (126 km)

• After breakfast, check out and drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (18,300 ft), the world’s highest motorable road.
• Visit the Maitreya Buddha Statue en route.
• Continue to Hunder, famous for its sand dunes and double-humped camels.
• Overnight stay at Nubra/Hunder.

Day 4: Nubra/Hunder – Turtuk – Nubra/Hunder (170 km)

• Enjoy breakfast and drive to Turtuk, a charming village near the Siachen Glacier and the last Indian outpost before Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan.
• Explore the unique culture, history, and cuisine of this region.
• Return to Nubra/Hunder for an overnight stay.
• If time permits, visit the Siachen Glacier, the world’s highest battleground.

Day 5: Nubra/Hunder – Pangong – Man (180 km)

• Start early at 5 AM and check out.
• Drive via the adventurous Shyok River Route with several water crossings.
• Stop at Pangong Lake, a scenic wonder featured in the movie "3 Idiots."
• Enjoy a photo session at the lake before heading to your campsite at Man.
• Overnight stay at Man.

Day 6: Man – Umling La – Hanle (200 km)

• After breakfast, head to Umling La, the highest motorable road in the world.
• Proceed to Hanle, a remote village near the Tibet border.
• Stay at a cozy homestay, as the area lacks large hotels.
• Option to visit the renowned Hanle Observatory, subject to permissions.
• Overnight stay at Hanle.

Day 7: Hanle – Tso Moriri – Tso Kar – Leh (400 km)

• After breakfast, journey to Tso Moriri, a pristine high-altitude lake on the Changthang Plateau.
• Cross the Mahe Bridge and explore the Tso Moriri Wetland Conservation Reserve.
• Stop by Tso Kar, a salt lake in the Rupshu Plateau, and the geothermal wonderland of Puga Valley.
• Return to Leh for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure from Leh (20 km)

• Post breakfast, check out from the hotel.
• Transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
