Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cochin & Local Sightseeing

  • Arrive in Cochin: Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax after your journey.
  • Afternoon Exploration: If you arrive in the morning, begin exploring Cochin around 3:00 PM. Visit:
    • Dutch Palace: Discover the grandeur of this historical palace showcasing Kerala’s rich heritage.
    • Jewish Synagogue: Explore one of the oldest active synagogues in the world.
    • Chinese Fishing Nets: Witness the iconic traditional fishing method along Cochin’s coast.
    • St. Francis Church: Visit one of the oldest European churches in India.
    • Marine Drive: Enjoy a peaceful stroll along the waterfront promenade.
  • Return to Hotel: Head back to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2: Cochin to Alleppey/Kumarakom – Backwater Bliss

  • Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey or Kumarakom (approximately a 2-hour drive).
  • Arrival & Check-in: Check into your hotel or resort and spend some time relaxing in this beautiful, tranquil environment.
  • Evening Backwater Cruise: (Optional, at your own cost) In the evening, embark on a memorable backwater ride through the lush green villages, witnessing Kerala's serene landscapes and vibrant local life.
  • Overnight Stay: Return to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay amidst the serene surroundings.

Day 3: Alleppey/Kumarakom to Marari Beach – Coastal Retreat

  • Morning: After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Marari Beach (a 1-hour drive from Alleppey/Kumarakom).
  • Arrival & Leisure: Arrive at Marari or Cherai Beach, where you can unwind and enjoy the soft sands, gentle waves, and the calm of the Arabian Sea.
  • Evening Relaxation: Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach, enjoying the cool breeze, or indulging in beachside activities.
  • Overnight Stay: Stay overnight at a charming beachside resort.

Day 4: Departure from Cochin

  • Morning: After breakfast, check out from your resort and proceed back to Cochin (2-hour drive).
  • Departure: Head to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, bidding farewell to Kerala with unforgettable memories.
