Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cochin & Local Sightseeing

  • Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
  • After checking in and relaxing, head out for a local sightseeing tour (if arriving in the morning).
  • Visit iconic attractions like the Dutch Palace, an architectural marvel showcasing Kerala's rich history, and the Jewish Synagogue, one of the oldest active synagogues in the Commonwealth.
  • Stop by the Chinese Fishing Nets, unique shore-operated lift nets that testify to Cochin's vibrant trade history.
  • Pay a visit to St. Francis Church, India's oldest European church, and stroll along Marine Drive, a picturesque promenade offering splendid views of the backwaters.
  • Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 2: Cochin to Munnar (150 km | Approx. 4 hours)

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on a scenic drive to Munnar, a hill station famous for its lush tea gardens and serene landscapes.
  • Enjoy the refreshing breeze and panoramic views as you ascend through the winding roads of the Western Ghats.
  • Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the surroundings, enjoy a spa session, or relax amidst nature.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar Local Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, set out to explore the best of Munnar's natural beauty and attractions.
  • Start with a visit to the Mattupetty Dam, known for its scenic lake and boating options, followed by the serene Echo Point, where the sounds of nature resonate in the hills.
  • Explore the sprawling Tea Plantations, where you can learn about tea processing and savor the freshness of Munnar’s renowned tea.
  • Visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and stunning views of the tea-covered hills.
  • Return to your hotel in the evening to unwind and stay overnight.

Day 4: Munnar to Cochin (150 km | Approx. 4 hours)

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your drive back to Cochin.
  • Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, bringing an end to your memorable Kerala trip.
