Marwar, also known as the "Land of Death" due to its arid climate, is a region in the western part of Rajasthan. The cities and places that are part of the Marwar region in your itinerary include:

  1. Jodhpur: Known as the "Blue City" and "Sun City," famous for the Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace.
  2. Bikaner: Known for its camel festival, Junagarh Fort, and Karni Mata Temple.
  3. Jaisalmer: Known as the "Golden City," famous for Jaisalmer Fort, havelis, and the sand dunes of the Thar Desert.

Mewar Region:

Mewar is a historical region in the southern part of Rajasthan, known for its rich heritage and the valor of its rulers. The cities and places that are part of the Mewar region in your itinerary include:

  1. Udaipur: Known as the "City of Lakes" and famous for its palaces, particularly the City Palace and Lake Palace.
  2. Mount Abu: The only hill station in Rajasthan, known for its cool climate and the Dilwara Temples.
  3. Ranthambore National Park: Located near Sawai Madhopur, it is famous for its tiger reserve and Ranthambore Fort.

Other Regions in Your Itinerary:

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Mount Abu  + Local Sightseeing

Arrive at Abu Road Station and proceed to Mount Abu, the only hill station of Rajasthan. Begin your exploration with a visit to the famous Dilwara Temples, renowned for their stunning marble architecture. Enjoy a tranquil boat ride on Nakki Lake, and end the day with a breathtaking sunset view from the Sunset Point. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.

Day 2: Mount Abu - Udaipur + Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, depart for Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to the majestic City Palace, which offers panoramic views of Lake Pichola. Continue to the Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and later, explore the Saheliyon Ki Bari, a beautiful garden with fountains and kiosks. Conclude your day with a boat ride on Lake Pichola, witnessing the reflection of the grand palaces in the tranquil waters. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 3: Udaipur - Ranthambore

After an early breakfast, drive to Ranthambore, a renowned wildlife sanctuary known for its population of Bengal tigers. En route, enjoy the changing landscapes of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. If time permits, you can visit the Ranthambore Fort, which offers a glimpse into the region’s historical significance. Overnight stay in Ranthambore.

Day 4: Safari at Ranthambore - Jaipur

Begin your day with an early morning jungle safari in Ranthambore National Park, where you can spot a variety of wildlife, including the elusive Bengal tiger. After the safari, return to the hotel for breakfast and then depart for Jaipur, the Pink City. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day city tour of Jaipur. Visit the iconic Amber Fort, where you can enjoy an elephant ride or take a jeep up to the fort. Day 6: Jaipur - Ajmer - Pushkar

After breakfast, depart for Ajmer, home to the revered Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a major pilgrimage site. After paying your respects, continue your journey to Pushkar, one of the oldest cities in India, famous for its Brahma Temple and the sacred Pushkar Lake. Day 7: Pushkar - Jodhpur Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, the Blue City. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and start your exploration with a visit to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, offering stunning views of the blue-painted city below. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. In the evening, stroll through the vibrant local markets. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 8: Jodhpur - Bikaner Local Sightseeing

Day 9: Bikaner - Jaisalmer Sand Dunes

Day 10: Jaisalmer Local Sightseeing

Explore the intricately carved Patwon Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli, showcasing the architectural brilliance of the region. In the evening, stroll through the vibrant bazaars of Jaisalmer. Day 11: Departure from Jaisalmer
