Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cochin & Sightseeing
Arrive in Cochin and check into your hotel. Relax after your journey, and around 3 PM, embark on a tour of Cochin’s historical and cultural landmarks. Visit the Dutch Palace, a symbol of colonial influence, the Jewish Synagogue, the famous Chinese Fishing Nets, and St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India. Take a leisurely walk along Marine Drive in the evening before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay. (Sightseeing is based on morning arrival in Cochin.)

Day 2: Cochin to Munnar (150 km, 4-hour drive)
After breakfast, depart for the scenic hill station of Munnar, renowned for its expansive tea plantations and misty hills. Check into your hotel and take the rest of the day at leisure to unwind amidst the cool climate and verdant landscapes. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in and around Munnar. Visit the serene Mattupetty Dam, followed by the picturesque Echo Point, known for its unique acoustic phenomenon. Explore the lush tea plantations, and later, visit Rajamalai and the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar to Alleppey/Kumarakom (160 km, 4-hour drive)
After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to the serene backwaters of Alleppey or Kumarakom. Upon arrival, check into your hotel or resort and relax. In the evening, embark on a backwater ride through the lush green villages of Kerala, where you can witness the tranquil beauty of the landscape (backwater ride at own cost). Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure to Cochin (100 km, 2-hour drive)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Cochin for your onward journey. Depart with beautiful memories of your trip to Kerala, "God’s Own Country."
