Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Chandigarh and Drive to Shimla

Your journey begins as you arrive at Chandigarh airport/railway station. Meet your guide and start your drive to Shimla, the "Queen of Hills." Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and dense cedar forests, Shimla offers a serene retreat to begin your adventure. Check in to your hotel and relax.

Overnight stay: Shimla

Day 2: Shimla to Sangla

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Sangla. En route, pause at the mesmerizing Sangla Valley Viewpoint for panoramic views of the snow-laden valley. Witness the grandeur of Kinner Kailash peaks before reaching Sangla/Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border.

Day 3: Sangla/Chitkul to Nako 

Today’s drive takes you through picturesque mountain roads to Nako. En route, stop at the "Last Dhaba," a unique eatery near the border. Visit the tranquil Nako Lake, beautifully frozen in winter, and admire the stunning mountain backdrop.

Day 4: Nako to Kaza 

Begin your day with a visit to Gue Monastery, home to the famous mummified monk. Continue to Tabo Monastery, renowned for its ancient murals and heritage. Visit Dhankar Monastery perched atop a cliff with breathtaking views of the valley. Arrive in Kaza by evening.

Day 5: Exploration of Spiti Villages and Key Monastery

Spend the day exploring the iconic villages of Spiti. Start with Langza, known for its giant Buddha statue and fossil-filled terrain. Continue to Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, and Komic, one of the highest villages in Asia. Visit the Key Monastery, a magnificent Tibetan structure, and walk across the engineering marvel, Chicham Bridge. End the day at Kibber, known for its snow leopard sightings.

Day 6: Kaza to Narkanda

Day 7: Narkanda to Chandigarh

On the final day, enjoy the serene morning in Narkanda before driving back to Chandigarh. Bid adieu to the Himalayas as your winter adventure concludes.
